Family medicine is a primary care discipline that provides continuing and comprehensive health care for the individual and family across all ages, genders, and diseases. It is based on knowledge of the patient in the context of the family and the community, emphasizing disease prevention and health promotion. At Cornwall Medical Clinic we offer the following services:
1- Preventive Care: at CMC we emphasize patient education and preventive health advice. We encourage our patients to get annual physical exam and all the screening tests recommended by the ministry of health.
2- MOT physicals: it is offered to patients of the practice and we also welcome walk-in patients
3- Newborn Care: it is always a pleasure to welcome the little ones into our practice, see them grow while we support you during this wonderful period of their early life.
4- Prenatal care: we gladly offer great support for all new pregnant women in their early pregnancy, we refer to obstetrician , and we do all the prenatal work up; like blood tests, screening tests and imaging.
5- Diabetes care: we do regular visits for diabetes management and we aim to educate and control your diabetes to prevent diabetes complications.
6- Chronic disease management: hypertension, kidney disease, thyroid disease and more.
